La uva tinta tiene la pulpa blanca, si prensamos la uva y le quitamos los hollejos rápidamente, no habrá color porque los colores se encuentran en la piel de la uva donde están los pigmentos y taninos. En cambio, la uva blanca al no tener pigmentos, el vino saldrá de color blanco completamente. Esa es la principal diferencia entre el vino blanco y tinto.
